Hi! I’m Chrissandra. I’ve been a single mother struggling everyday for the last four years. I just recently heard about and got enrolled in The Learning Together Teen Ed Program. The staff here at the SAPCC are very kind and helpful, they are very understanding. The program offers information on how to look for work and prepares you for work. They teach us how to fill out applications and helped us make resumes and cover letters. We learn everyday life skills needed to get jobs. Being a part of the GRTW has been a great experience, I’ve learned a lot in the last few weeks since I’ve been here.
The SAPCC also offers other programs that can be very helpful too like playgroups, parenting classes and reading groups. The staff members here are great to be around and to talk to. They’ve helped us to get a little closer to our goals, hopes and dreams and they’ve made our children’s futures a little brighter. They’ve made a great difference in our lives.
